If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how
can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with
actions and in truth. 1 John 3:17-18 NIV

We are currently working on 2 projects in El Progreso, Honduras.
The first project is supporting and loving the children at Copprome Orphanage.
We support them by monthly sponsorships which help provide food, clothing, daily
necessities and relationship building by bringing groups to the orphanage to support
these 42 children through nurturing and loving on them!
We have a sponsorship program that is two-fold.
Education Sponsorship where families donate monies for a child to pay for all of their
educational needs (uniforms, shoes, backpacks, books and school supplies).
Family Sponsorship program in which families support the kids on a monthly basis to
provide food, clothing, and necessities for their child. The family sponsorship is for
families who are willing to go to Honduras to build a relationship with their child. This
program was started this Fall (2011) after 70 people went, served, and began the
process of becoming an American la familia for these children.
The second project is for a very poor community of people in El Progreso called Mount
Olivos. This group of people consists of approximately 30 families who were basically
moved out of the city and told to start over without any real means of supporting
themselves...no real way to start over. The Catholic Church bought a piece of property
for them on which to live. They are beginning the process of becoming a village. We
were able to build them a well in 2011 and hope to buy the supplies and offer our help
to build 30 homes in 2012!
